The Making of the
Philadelphia Flower Show
presented by
Sam Lemheney
Chief Designer and Coordinator, Philadelphia Flower Show
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society
Join Sam Lemheney, designer of the Philadelphia Flower Show and Senior
VP of Shows & Events for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, for a
lively behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the nation’s oldest and
largest indoor flower show. Sam, now in his eighth year as designer, is
a dynamic speaker, whose role is to guide the multi-acre show from
sketch pad to show floor, overseeing a team of designers, floral
arrangers, and horticulturists. Sam will also offer a sneak peek of the
2013 Show titled "Brilliant!", held March 2-10, 2013, at the
Pennsylvania Convention Center. The 2013 Flower Show - in its 183rd year
- will be a celebration of the contemporary culture, design, gardens and
landscapes of Great Britain.
Once again, CMAA will be coordinating a Toys for Tots collection with
the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Bring an UNWRAPPED toy to brighten
a child’s holiday.

event. Call 215-985-5703. See [Flyer]. Sponsorship benefits include:
